NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN
From Daytona's ARCA RE/MAX 200 in February through Homestead in November there is at least one race every weekend from the NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide, Craftsman Truck and ARCA RE/MAX Series in 2008. The Thunderbolt Raceway Fantasy Motorsports Fanchise League follows the documented results of these races to let you compete for prizes as a result of skill in choosing the top drivers each weekend.
The Thunderbolt Raceway FMFL lets you pick 7 (seven) drivers before each weekend of racing and earn points according to actual race results. There are no drafts, salary caps, groups or free agent rules. You just pick the drivers you think will do best and hope you pick better than everyone else!
Players can enter or change their picks at anytime up until 9:00 AM MST (Arizona) on the day of each round or weekend's first race. On most weekends the first race is on a Friday, so most deadlines for picking starters are Friday MST at 9:00 AM. On weekends or rounds with the first race on Saturday, the deadline for picking starters is 9:00 AM MST (Arizona) on Saturday. In August there is a Truck race on Wednesday evening at Bristol, so the deadline for picking all 7 (seven) drivers will be 9:00 AM MST on that Wednesday, August 20th, 2008. Players must start at least one driver (or car, for ALMS events) per race scheduled, and points are only awarded to drivers who finish 16th or better. After registering a driver for each scheduled event, players can register their extra drivers in any of the other scheduled series. For example:
- When there is only one race scheduled for a weekend, players will start seven drivers in that one race.
- When there are two races scheduled, players must register a driver for each race before registering their additional five drivers in either of the two races.
- When there are three races scheduled, players must register one driver per race before selecting the extra four drivers.
- When there are races scheduled from all four series, player must register at least one driver per race before selecting their exra three drivers to fill out their roster of 7 (seven) starers.
Players will receive points according to the results of the drivers listed in their team’s pick starter’s screen as of each week’s registration deadline.

TOTAL WEEKLY SCORING: Each week, when a player selects seven different drivers, that player is credited with the combined scores of all seven drivers upon completion of that weekend’s race(s).
Multi-race weekends will show driver scores from all races scheduled. Since all series use the same FMFL scoring system, players can select their ‘extra’ drivers – the drivers that complete the 7-driver lineup after they have started one driver per scheduled race – according to expected performance including qualifying and type of car being raced. Each week, when a player selects seven different drivers, that player is credited with the combined scores of all seven drivers upon completion of that weekend’s race(s).
HOW TO WIN: The Thunderbolt Raceway FMFL awards weekly and end-of-season championship prizes. Players can win prizes four ways:
- By being one of the top three point-scorers for each of the 41 race weekends or rounds (Top Dawg)
- By scoring in the top 10 during the first 31 weekends or round to qualify for the Thunderbolt Challenge Championship and being one of the top three scoring teams at the end of the final, 10 round game period
- By being one of the four teams that score the most points per series at the end of the 41-race weekend game period
- By being the one team that scores the most points among all series and all players at the end of the 41-race weekend game period
